Exploring the magic of Budapest! The perfect incentive trip location!

We just returned from an unforgettable adventure in Budapest! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this gem of a city. For those of you who do not know, there are two sides to Budapest – ‘Buda” & ‘Pest’. Buda, located on the western bank of the Danube, is known for its rich history and stunning hilltop view. The area has been inhabited since ancient times and served as the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary during various periods of history. Pest, located on the eastern bank of the Danube, is the bustling heart of Budapest, known for its vibrant culture, dynamic nightlife, and commercial activity. The city boasts architectural diversity, blending Gothic, Art Nouveau, and contemporary styles.

Below you will find a breakdown of where we stayed, what we did and what we ate! We had the pleasure of working with our incredible partners @Euromic & @Blaguss who planned our fun filled, jam packed itinerary and led us through this absolutely stunning, extremely clean and safe city!

We stayed at The Marriott Budapest hosted by the great @Albert Marton! This is the only hotel in Budapest offering magnificent Danube river views from all of its 364 rooms, boasting a prime location in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel for an AGM, incentive sales trip, or corporate retreat based on location, size and meeting space. We were also lucky enough to visit The Dorothea Budapest, The Ritz-Carlton  and The W. All super stylish, refined and either recently renovated or fairly new! The W takes the cake!

Iconic attractions we recommend:

Fisherman's Bastion - one of Budapest's most iconic and picturesque landmarks, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

Buda Castle

The Hungarian State Opera House

House of Music

Hungarian Parliament Building.

Boat Ride on the Danube

City Ark – Flourishing gardens

Exploring the streets of the Jewish quarter (you will find plenty of bars, historic synagogues, thriving arts scene cafes & nightlife)

Eats:

Great Market Hall

KIOSK

Twenty Six

Felix Kitchen & Bar

Babel

Don’t forget to try out some local famous dishes such as goulash, langos, and chimney cake!

We encourage our clients to consider Budapest for the next sales incentive trip, presidents club or corporate meeting, this city will not disappoint! We would love to help you plan, please reach out!
